Basket Vases

An assortment of tablecloths and plates, a hosta leaf tucked in a grossgrain bow on the napkins made for a beautiful country look. Of course I made the basket vases for the centerpieces! I you want me to make one for you I can weave in a few rows with the color of your choice. I make the basket around a heavy beverage glass which acts as a vase for fresh flowers.

$16 per vase or for an order of 10 or more $14 per vase. + Shipping.

Flower Children Baskets

Here is my sweet granddaughter, Sadie, at her mom's beautiful outdoor wedding! If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind flower child basket I can make one for you! I've woven in some color to this round bottom basket and added a tulle bow to each handle. This basket holds flower petals perfectly. $15 + shipping and handling.

Easter Baskets

I've been busy geting ready for an Easter Basket Class in Freedom March 6. I've dyed lots of reed with pretty spring colors. Time to think spring and say goodbye to the cold, dark winter.

Fair Weekend

Thank you to the hundreds of people who came by over the weekend and bought baskets. Kyle, Owen, Meera and Sadie and their parents will really appreciate you! From the Portland Symphony Magic Of Christmas Concert to Swedish Christmas cookies and gifts under the tree we THANK YOU! Besides all that I had a blast. My friends Mary, Pam and Alice deserve a huge thank you for helping me troughout the weekend. I'm already planning on making even more baskets next year. I had made 225 and I have only 11 left! Better get weaving - bye!

Open House

November 21 + 22 is my Open House Basket Sale. 9-5 on Saturday and 12-4 on Sunday. I've made all sorts of baskets that will be for sale. Lots of styles not shown here on the blog. Or just come on by to visit with Don and I - you'd don't have to buy a thing!

Market Basket

These are medium size market baskets. They are 8 inches wide, 14 inches long, 6 inches tall (not including handle) and have an oak handle. I use reds, blues and greens mostly but sometimes add other colors as you can see. You may request certain colors but each and every basket will be unique. Email me if you want to order one of these very useful baskets! Price $32 + shipping (actual USPO cost).
